VisionRear Pro & Koso rear light (red) with holder

This set includes a set of VisionRear Pro with a Koso GT-01 rear light (red glass) and the corresponding vehicle-specific holder for BMW R 1300 GS with the original topcase holder (option 690). The vehicle-specific holder is installed using the screws supplied and the additional rear light is connected to the VisionRear Pro.

With the VisionRear Pro, you can expand the rear light function of your BMW motorcycle with a sophisticated, plug & play light logic. The module improves the visibility of the rear indicators and also enables the connection of an external rear light or a third brake light.

Particularly on modern BMW motorcycles with multifunctional rear indicators, the indicator signal can be visually obscured depending on the lighting conditions and driving situation. VisionRear Pro ensures that the indicator signal is more clearly differentiated from the brake light. During the flashing process, the respective brake light on the flashing side is briefly deactivated. This creates a clearer contrast and makes the blinker function more visible to following road users.

New: selectable function for the additional rear light

VisionRear Pro has an additional connection for an external rear light or a third brake light. You can use the yellow configuration cable on the module to specify how the connected additional rear light should work:

Configuration cable closed:
The connected additional rear light works as a combined rear light and brake light. It therefore lights up with the rear light function and is activated as a brake light or brighter when braking.

Configuration cable disconnected:
The connected additional rear light works exclusively as a brake light. It remains off in normal driving mode and is only activated when braking.

This allows you to flexibly adapt VisionRear Pro to your preferences – for example, if you only want to use an additional third brake light or prefer a combined rear/brake light solution.

We offer suitable brackets for the most common BMW models. The VisionRear Pro is available both as a single module and as a set with various high-quality brake lights. The module is plug & play compatible with the Denali B6 rear light.

Installation is extremely simple and can be completed in just a few minutes: The VisionRear Pro modules are plugged between the rear blinker plugs of your motorcycle and are ready for immediate use. No coding, soldering or changes to the wiring harness are required. The set always consists of 2 modules.

The module is developed so that no error messages or diagnostic malfunctions appear on your motorcycle’s display. Full serviceability remains unrestricted – workshop visits, diagnostic work, and regular maintenance are possible at any time without issues. Since the system operates independently of software adjustments in the control unit, it is completely update-proof. The function remains permanently active even after a software update at a BMW authorized workshop.

Reverting to the original condition is possible at any time, completely and without residue.

The VisionRear system was developed to improve the rear visibility of the motorcycle through adapted light logic. Technically, the system intervenes in the rear braking and signaling system.

Due to this technical change, the VisionRear system is not approved for regular public road traffic in Germany. Use is at your own risk and only in areas where such use is permitted.
