The intake air ducts enhance your BMW motorcycle's performance by directing airflow more precisely in the intake area. These components replace the stock air ducts in the air filter box and direct the incoming air more directly toward the throttle valves.

The intake air ducts were developed for the BMW KA models and are compatible with the BMW R1300GS, BMW R1300GS Adventure, and BMW R1300RT. They are installed in the air filter box, where they replace the stock air duct.

The modified shape directs the incoming air more precisely toward the throttle valves. The goal is to provide cleaner and more direct support for the engine’s air supply. The intake air guides are therefore not merely a cosmetic feature, but a subtle technical optimization in the intake area.

It is particularly effective when used in combination with an optimized air filter or custom-tuned engine software. This allows the intake system to be better tailored to the specific vehicle configuration, especially in performance-oriented modifications.

The intake air ducts are always supplied in pairs. The KA models require two intake air ducts due to their two-cylinder engine. Once installed, the components are located inside the air filter box and are not visible from the outside.

These components shorten the intake funnels in the air filter box and improve airflow in the intake area. This directs the air more precisely to the throttle valves. When combined with proper tuning, this can help increase torque.

The intake air duct can generally be installed on its own. However, we usually recommend using it in combination with compatible engine software, such as a Level 1 or Level 2 performance upgrade.
