Activate digital retrofits and software conveniently at home – we connect to your motorcycle and handle the entire activation process.

Information & requirements

You connect your motorcycle to your Windows computer, we establish a secure remote connection and handle the complete activation for you. Remote activation works exclusively for BMW motorcycles with a TFT display, as only these models support the required digital communication.

The remote cable for remote activation can only be ordered through our online shop in combination with the desired retrofits. You can find all important information such as price, delivery time, and shipping details directly on the product page.

If your computer does not have a LAN port, you can also purchase our USB-C-to-LAN adapter in the shop.

The remote cable becomes your property after purchase and can be used for all compatible BMW motorcycles. Please note that we do not rent out remote cables.

Process:

After purchasing the remote cable via our online shop, we will arrange an appointment to carry out the process. You prepare your Windows computer and your motorcycle. The process at a glance:

You install TeamViewer and connect your PC to the internet.
You connect the motorcycle to your computer using our remote cable.
We call you at the agreed time and log in to your system.
We guide you through the entire activation process.
Afterwards, we check together whether all functions are correctly active.

Important notes:

Ensure a stable internet connection and, if possible, use a LAN connection.
Keep your motorcycle battery in a good state of charge.
The motorcycle and computer must not be switched off or disconnected during the activation.
If your computer does not have a LAN port, you can order our USB-C-to-LAN adapter in our shop.
