By retrofitting the sports displays, you can expand the TFT display of your BMW motorcycle with an additional display that is otherwise reserved exclusively for selected sports models. After activation, the new “Sport” core screen is available in the main menu, which gives you direct access to an extended display of riding-relevant data.
The sports display provides you with a wide range of live information in real time while riding. This includes speed, engine speed, lean angle, traction control (DTC) activity and the current deceleration of your motorcycle. In addition, the intake air temperature display is activated in the upper status bar, giving you even more insight into the behavior of your engine.
The system also adapts visually: The menu navigation and the “Pure Ride” view are displayed in the characteristic blue sports design and ensure a much more dynamic presentation on the TFT display.
The retrofit is suitable for all BMW motorcycles with TFT display and is fully integrated into the existing vehicle structure without additional hardware or structural changes.
Important to note: This retrofit cannot be updated. If the retrofit is overwritten by a software update at an authorized BMW workshop, it can be reactivated at any time; a reactivation fee will be charged for this. A complete return to the original state is possible at any time without restrictions.

This retrofit can be activated in three different ways – depending on what suits you best:
1: The easiest option is to have the procedure performed directly at our clinic in Overath. The procedure usually takes around 30 minutes and can easily be carried out as part of a waiting appointment so that you can stay on site during the procedure.
2: Alternatively, you can also have the retrofit carried out at one of our partner workshops. Here too, you can wait on site and make an appointment directly with the partner workshop in your area. You can find an overview of all partner workshops here: https://emotion-ride.de/partnerwerkstaetten/
3: The third option is to send us your disassembled TFT display. Once it has been activated, we will send it back to you immediately. Of course, we will provide you with the appropriate instructions for the removal and installation for your particular motorcycle model.
You have three options for activating this retrofit – you decide which option suits you best:
1. installation in our workshop
The retrofit is carried out directly at our premises in 51491 Overath and usually takes about 30 minutes. The appointment can be scheduled as a waiting appointment so that you can stay on site during this time.
2. installation at a partner workshop
Alternatively, you can have the retrofit carried out at one of our partner workshops. Appointments can be made directly with the workshop in your area, and a waiting appointment is usually no problem here either. You can find an overview here: https://emotion-ride.de/partnerwerkstaetten/
3. sending in your TFT display
If an on-site appointment is not an option for you, you can send us your removed TFT display. It will be returned to you immediately after activation. We will provide you with suitable instructions for the removal and installation for your particular motorcycle model.
