This product includes ValveMode and Healtech valve control. ValveMode allows you to control the exhaust flap on your BMW motorcycle based on the riding mode. For each riding mode, you can either keep the original control settings or manually control the exhaust flap. The settings are saved and automatically applied when you switch riding modes.

ValveMode allows you to control the exhaust flap on your BMW motorcycle based on the riding mode. The HealTech exhaust flap control module is required for this feature to work. It is not included in the package and is available separately in our online store.

For each detected driving mode, you can specify whether to retain the standard control or to open or close the exhaust flap. This allows you to tailor the sound characteristics to match the respective driving mode. In comfort-oriented modes, the original flap control can remain in effect, while for a sport driving mode, you can set a more open and pronounced sound profile. When you switch driving modes, the saved setting is automatically applied.

Configuration is performed directly on the motorcycle using the standard BMW handlebar switches on the left side of the handlebars. All settings are permanently saved and remain in effect even after the ignition is turned off. The module comes with the appropriate adapter cable for connecting it to the motorcycle.

In addition, ValveMode features a special mode Quiet Neutral. When this feature is activated, the exhaust flap is closed during idle, regardless of the preset value stored for the current driving mode. This allows noise levels to be specifically reduced, for example, during a brief stop.

ValveMode reads the necessary information about the current riding mode and selected gear directly from the motorcycle’s CAN bus. The exhaust valve is then controlled via the compatible HealTech exhaust valve control module.

To use ValveMode, the HealTech exhaust valve control module (link to the product here) must already be installed on the motorcycle or ordered separately. Alternatively, ValveMode is also available in our online store as a complete set that includes the compatible HealTech module.

Depending on the configuration selected, the motorcycle’s noise levels may vary. When driving on public roads, the system may only be used in a configuration that is permitted for the vehicle, the exhaust system, and in accordance with applicable regulations.
