The 759 retrofit kit replaces the small standard instrument cluster on the BMW R 1300 GS and BMW R 1300 GS Adventure with the large 10-inch TFT instrument cluster. The significantly larger display offers a modern interface, a split-screen view, and navigation via the BMW Motorrad Connected app. The retrofit is complemented by an original BMW control unit with four customizable favorite buttons and the necessary vehicle-specific installation parts.

The 759 retrofit kit was developed for the BMW R 1300 GS and BMW R 1300 GS Adventure and replaces the small standard instrument cluster with a large 10-inch TFT instrument cluster. The significantly larger display area gives the cockpit a higher-quality and more modern look. At the same time, driving information, navigation, and other displays are presented more clearly and are easier to read.

A special feature is the split-screen function. It allows different types of information to be displayed simultaneously on the screen. For example, the navigation view and relevant vehicle data can be displayed side by side. Navigation continues to be handled via the BMW Motorrad Connected app in conjunction with a paired smartphone. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are not currently supported.

The retrofit kit also includes an original BMW control unit with four favorite buttons. These buttons allow you to access frequently used functions particularly quickly. All necessary vehicle-specific components for integrating the large display are included in the retrofit kit.

Due to the larger dimensions of the instrument cluster, it is also necessary to install a specially designed steering angle limiter. This slightly reduces the maximum steering angle and prevents contact between vehicle components and the new display.

Installation takes about 1.5 hours and must be performed at a specialized workshop, at Emotion Ride, or at a properly trained partner workshop. The retrofit kit is not intended for DIY installation, as it requires not only mechanical assembly but also professional integration and commissioning on the vehicle.

It should be noted that the large 10-inch TFT screen replaces the sport displays on the standard small instrument cluster as well as the gearshift indicator integrated into it. In return, the vehicle features a significantly larger display, an expanded display layout, and a cockpit that is modeled after the higher-trim BMW models in both appearance and functionality.
